Fernando Cubillo of Madrid, Spain, takes a picture of the Fishermen's Monument on Stacy Boulevard Thursday. Cubillo had read about Gloucester in the Perfect Storm and visited for the day while visiting family in Boston. The annual Fishermen Memorial service will be held Saturday in remembrance of fishermen lost at sea. A procession will begin at 5 p.m. from the American Legion and march to the Fishermen's Monument where there will be a ceremony, flowers scattered in the ocean and wreaths placed at the monument. |
