Allegra Boverman/Gloucester Daily Times. Parts of the Birdseye Building were damaged on Monday evening by Hurricane Sandy. Workers were on the scene in the Fort neighborhood to repair it but the utility company had not yet come by to turn off power so they could do the repairs.
