ALLEGRA BOVERMAN/Staff photo. Gloucester Daily Times. Brennah Satterfield, 11, right, of Rockport, gives a bunch of balloons to Five Corners crossing guard Beryl Barnes of Rockport on Friday afternoon on her last day of doing this job. She's been crossing guard in this very spot for 12 to 13 years. Satterfield and her mom and sister, Stasia and Kealy, 7, also gave her owl-shaped cupcakes, and a mini cake. Another family gave her an African violet and the regular kids in that neighborhood gave her lots of handmade, hand-drawn cards.
