Members of Team Emerson, the PACE at Elder Service Plan of the North Shore team in the Gloucester center, practices their volleyball skills at the center on Emerso nAvenue on Wednesday afternoon. The team of about a dozen seniors is going to compete against other North Shore PACE centers in the PACE Olympics, on Thursday at Danvers Indoor Sports in Danvers. The seniors will compete in volleyball, a disc toss at a target, and "corn hole," a beanbag toss. At far right is Johanna Catania, a rehabilitation aide at the center.
