Wellspring House's Children's Play Space got refurbished with help from Horizons for Homeless Children very recently. Wellspring's Washington Street shelter's place space also got upgraded. Children were playing there at the Essex Avenue location during the Open House and Annual Meeting on Tuesday evening. Standing from left to right are: Nancis Marte with her son Jariel, 18 months old, volunteers Dawn Bryden and Christine Gordon, both of Gloucester and of the Firs Presbyterian Church of Ipswich, Sarah Fujiwara, of Horizons for Homeless Children, Malorie Verloove of Gloucester, Kay O'Rourke, executive director of Wellspring House, Kelley Bieferman, of Horizons for Homeless Children, and in back, Stephen Croke, also of Horizons for Homeless Children.
