Courtesy photo.The 2013 Summer Concert Series continues at the Antonio Gentile Bandstand in Stage Fort Park in Gloucester with the internationally acclaimed authentic 20-piece big band, Compaq Big Band on Sunday, July 14 at 7 pm. This free outdoor concert series at the Antonio Gentile Bandstand located in Stage Fort Park on the edge of Gloucester harbor offers a wide range of musical styles to enjoy in the beautiful summer weather with a view of picturesque Gloucester Harbor. The ambitious schedule of concerts kicked off on Sunday, July 7 and runs through August 25. Ample free parking is available for the concert series. Restrooms are available to concert goers and Stage Fort Park and the restrooms are handicapped accessible. Concertgoers are urged to bring picnic dinners, lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the concert in comfort. The Sunday evening concerts are sponsored by many area businesses and individuals. Several of the concerts will feature free refreshments provided by the concert sponsors. All concerts begin at 7pm, parking is free and the site is handicap accessible.
