Good Harbor crowds bring shutdown of parking areas

Gloucester police have shut down access to the Good Harbor Beach parking areas, which are filled to capacity and are expected to remain that way throughout the day.

With temperatures in the high 70s even by 11 a.m. on this Patriots Day holiday — and on the first day of school vacation week, city beaches are drawing big crowds. And traffic to and around Good Harbor Beach area, especially, has spawned a number of tieups.
