A second alarm called in firefighters and apparatus from Rockport, Manchester, Essex, while Beverly and Hamilton crews covered the Gloucester stations. Firefighters at the scene also called in a ladder company from Ipswich.
Crews declared the fire as being knocked as of 8:10 p.m., but were still on the scene as of press time.
