Artisans wanted for Essex Clamfest

ESSEX — The Essex Division of the Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce is seeking vendors for the 28th Essex Clamfest Artisans Fair, on Saturday, Oct. 23, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Memorial Park off Martin Street. Rain date is October 24.

Cost for participation is $45 or $20 for nonprofits. This event attracts thousands of visitors each year. Highlights of the event include a chowder-tasting contest, entertainment, children's activities, artisan's wares and more. (Please note, drug paraphernalia, poppers, stink bombs, Silly String, invisible ink and weapons are not allowed.) Forum on selling goods on eBay

DANVERS — Kate Ritter,of Essex's PC9LIVES will speak at the North Shore Business Forum on "How to Sell on eBay" on Friday, Aug. 6 at 7:30 a.m.

The North Shore Business Forum is a group of small-business owners who meet each Friday morning for informal lectures given by business owners on a wide variety of topics. Participants also introduce themselves and describe their businesses at each meeting. All business owners are welcome; future, past, experience, or beginning - no membership is required! The group meets each Friday from 7:15 to 8:30 a.m. at the Danversport Yacht Club, Route 62 East, Danvers. The $9 admission fee includes a continental breakfast.
