Chamber members exercise networking skills
Last Wednesday night, over seventy local business people gathered at Gloucester's gleaming new MAC Fitness Center. Not to workout, but to network, at Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce's first Evening Business Exchange of the new year. Host Brian Fleming, MAC's membership manager, gave a warm welcome to shivering guests as they blew in with the snow and headed upstairs to the mezzanine loft, where the catering was provided by Azorean, and the festive mood was part party, but all business. Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce holds monthly Evening Business Exchanges; the next one is scheduled for Feb. 24, from 5 to 7 p.m., at Sudbay Motors, on the Causeway.
