Sea-related fun, sale to benefit children's library

A local store is hosting an event and sale that will benefit the children’s room at the city library.

Kids Unlimited at 123 Main St. is holding an ocean-themed afternoon of fun to benefit the Sawyer Free Library children’s room this Saturday, Oct. 5, from 1 to 4 p.m.

Children can meet the character Scuba Jack and his nautical friends, experience touch tanks and face painting, take part in crafts, games, and spin prize wheel. Each child will take home a free gift bag.

The downtown shop will donate 20 percent of sales during the event to the children’s room at the library.
