---- — BankGloucester elects Donaldson to board
Cynthia Cafasso Donaldson has joined BankGloucester’s board of directors.
“We are excited to have Cindy on the board of BankGloucester,” said Patrick Thorpe, the bank’s president and chief executive officer, in a statement. “With her extensive leadership experience and her strong dedication to the community, Cindy will be a valuable asset to the organization.”
Since 1998, Donaldson has worked for Northeast Health System, now a member of Lahey Health. As vice president of Addison Gilbert Hospital in Gloucester, she is responsible for the budget, facility management, strategic planning, and oversight of care delivery and physician and community relations.
Donaldson also leads the Meaningful Use/ARRA program for Addison Gilbert, Beverly and Bay Ridge hospitals. Within Northeast Health System she has worked as director of ambulatory services and director of clinical operations at Addison Gilbert Hospital, executive director of Seacoast Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, vice president of operations for Northeast Senior Health, and vice president of ancillary services at Beverly and Addison Gilbert hospitals.
She earned a Master of Business Administration degree and a certificate in health care management from Boston University Graduate School of Management, as well as a Bachelor of Science, Pharmacy, from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy.
A life-long resident of Gloucester, Donaldson is active in several local community organizations, including the Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce, The Open Door food pantry and Our Lady of Good Voyage Church.
Gas prices drop another 4 cents
BOSTON — The average cost of a gallon of gas in Massachusetts has dropped another 4 cents, and is now down 23 cents in the past month.
AAA Southern New England reports Monday that self-serve, regular is now selling for $3.43 per gallon. The average price per gallon Monday for gasoline on Cape Ann is $3.61, with prices ranging from $3.52 in Gloucester to $3.88 in Manchester, according to GasBuddy.com.
That’s still 9 cents per gallon higher that the national average but 45 cents lower than the in-state price one year ago.
AAA found self-serve, regular selling for as low as $3.26 per gallon and as high as $3.65.
