Rotary's Comedy Show will kick off Labor Day

Cruiseport Gloucester is the stage for The Rotary Club of Gloucester's fourth annual comedy show, kicking off the Labor Day Weekend on Thursday, Sept. 2, with Dave Rattigan hosting some of Boston's best comics.

Tickets are $30 per person, $250 for 10, and are available at the Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce, 33 Commercial St., Gloucester; or by contacting Ruth Pino at 978-865-1232 or: ruth@ruthpino.com.

Vendor, artisans wanted for Essex Clamfest

The Essex Division of the Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce seeks vendors for the 28th Essex Clamfest Artisans Fair, on Saturday, Oct. 23, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., in Memorial Park off Martin Street. Rain date is Oct. 24. Cost for participation is $45, $20 for nonprofits.
