Gloucester resident Tobin Dominick, along with several other new board members, will be sworn into office Nov. 14, when the North of Boston CVB holds its annual dinner and awards ceremony at the Wylie Inn & Conference Center at Endicott College in Beverly.
Dominick, along with her brother Drew Dominick, operates the Cape Ann Marina, which has been a family business since 1972. Their business includes a 265-boat marina resort with a waterfront hotel, spa and function space and, this past year, opened their new Mile Marker One Restaurant & Bar.
Dominick has been active in the business community, serving as president for Gloucester’s destination marketing organization, Discover Gloucester, as past chairwoman of the Tourism Committee for the Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce, and has been involved in the North of Boston Regional Tourism Council since 2002, serving on the Board of Directors, Executive Board and will now become the chairman elect in November.
A graduate of the Carroll School of Management at Boston College, Dominick worked in marketing for Nantucket Nectars, developing national accounts and event marketing for the West Coast prior to rejoining the family business.
