Vintage cars bring crowd to public auction

Walt Kolenda — known on his popular website as Auction Wally — moved his auction for a day from his space at Cape Ann Industrial Park in West Gloucester to Essex Avenue.

The venue was perfect for the star items: a 2004 40th anniversary automatic Ford Mustang, with a V-6 engine and a 1970 Chevy Impala convertible. They were on the block at Tony Tally’s Auto Sales.

Other items on the block were a tow truck, new scooters, a Shoveldozer, motorcycle, a car trailer, model ships and planes, art and other antiques.
