Pallazolla to chair Arthritis Walk
Carol Pallazolla of Gloucester has been named chairwoman of the 2010 North Shore Arthritis Walk to take place Sunday, May 23, at Lynch Park in Beverly.
Pallazolla is the community relations coordinator for Northeast Senior Health for Northeast Health System. She has been a volunteer for the Arthritis Foundation since 2003 and also is an Arthritis Foundation Exercise Program instructor.
The North Shore Arthritis Walk brings help and hope to 1.5 million adults and 5,900 children in Massachusetts who suffer from arthritis and related diseases. Funds raised at the walk support Arthritis Foundation research and community health programs to help people live better with arthritis until a cure can be found.
The Arthritis Walk is an event for all ages and abilities and includes a 1- or 3-mile seaside route followed by a post-walk party with entertainment, health exhibits, massages, food, music and dancing, children's activities and a raffle.

Kasabian joins J. Barrett & Company
Full-time real estate agent Anna Kasabian has joined J. Barrett & Company's Manchester office.
With more than 25 years of business experience, Kasabian, a Manchester resident, offers today's sellers and buyers a unique set of skills developed and refined as a principal in a multimillion-dollar Boston marketing agency owned by she and husband David. Kasabian also served nine years as a trustee for a 22-unit condominium building in Boston's Back Bay where the couple lived, honing her skills on managing a building and protecting its investment value.

Cape Ann Chamber's Irish Sweepstakes
Fewer than 40 tickets are available for theCape Ann Chamber of Commerce's annual Irish Sweepstakes Raffle, which will be drawn on Tuesday, March 16, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Cameron's Restaurant in Gloucester. The festivities will include the Irish music of Mollie's Misfits, traditional appetizers, great door prizes, and the chance to be one of eight winners who will share $15,000 in prizes.
The Chamber's Sweepstakes Committee, chaired by Patrick Thorpe of BankGloucester, has printed 300 tickets, which are now for sale at $100 per ticket. Purchase of a ticket will admit two people to the party and drawing. There will be a $10,000 first prize, three $1,000 second prizes, and four $500 third prizes and new this year is a 50/50 raffle.

Free small business counseling is offered at the Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce's office at 33 Commercial St. in Gloucester on the first and third Thursdays of each month.
