AGH's Donaldson to speak at luncheon

Guest speaker Cindy Cafasso Donaldson, executive director at Addison Gilbert Hospital, will share the top five lessons learned on her journey in business at the Businesswomens' Spring Luncheon, hosted by the Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Bass Rocks Golf Club, 34 Beach Road, Gloucester.

Cafasso will speak about the importance of maintaining focus, how accepting responsibility and keeping priorities straight can lead to success, and the three biggest surprises she herself has experienced on her personal road to success in the health care industry.

DOT chief Davey launches lunch series

Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce's new membership "Power Lunch" speaker series will kick off Wednesday, May 23, at the Elks at Bass Rocks, 101 Atlantic Road, with guest speaker Richard A. Davey, the Massachusetts Department of Transportation secretary and chief executive officer.

A key member of Gov. Deval Patrick's Cabinet, Davey will share updates and insights on major transportation initiatives on Cape Ann and throughout theregion.

Check-in for this inaugural luncheon is at 11:30 a.m.; the program starts at noon.
