NeedyMeds partner to Consumer Reports

NeedyMeds has partnered with Consumer Reports Best Buy Drugs to provide visitors to NeedyMeds.org with the latest recommendations on the safest, most effective and least expensive prescription and over-the-counter medications as rated by Consumer Reports.

Users will access the Consumer Reports Best Buy Drugs recommendations on NeedyMeds.org by clicking on any brand name drug with the logo. Consumers will be able to read the data on that particular drug and learn about their options.

“NeedyMeds’ collaboration with Consumer Reports Best Buy Drugs brings vital drug information to our website visitors,” said Rich Sagall, MD, president of NeedyMeds, in a statement. “One of our goals is help people become educated partners in their healthcare and this information goes along way in helping us meet this goal.”

“Adding Consumer Reports’ recommendations to the resources offered by NeedyMeds will help consumers make better medication choices based on safety, effectiveness and cost,” said Doris Peter, PhD, associate director of The Consumer Reports Health Ratings Center, in a statement.
