‘Dr. Patty Ann’ to speak to businesswomen
Dr. Patty Ann Tublin is guest speaker this Thursday when the Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce hosts its annual businesswomen’s luncheon at Bass Rocks Golf Club in Gloucester.
Tublin, known as “Dr. Patty Ann” on the speech circuit, is the author of the Amazon bestselling book, “Not Tonight Dear, I’ve Got a Business to Run!” A world renowned relationship expert and a licensed psychotherapist who has helped hundreds of people learn how to increase romance and happiness in their relationships, she utilizes relevant business and career building concepts to map out ways to create a successful career or thriving business without sacrificing happiness in marriage and family life, sharing relationship skills and tools designed to help today’s multi-tasking businesswomen create lives they love.
This Thursday’s event, titled “Insider Secrets to Work-Life Balance Businesswomen’s Fall Luncheon,” will be hosted by the chamber at Bass Rocks Golf Club, 34 Beach Road, Gloucester. Massachusetts Insurance Women to meet
The Essex Chapter of the Massachusetts Association of Insurance Women (MAIW) will convene on Oct. 10th for a dinner meeting at 6 p.m. at Danversport Yacht Club, 161 Elliott St., Danvers.

Essex Heritage hosts networker
The Essex Heritage will hold a semi-annual networking event Tuesday, Oct. 30, from 8 to 10 a.m. at the Smith Barn at Brooksby Farm at 38 Felton St. in Peabody. The agenda will include updates on Essex Heritage activities and initiatives, an introduction to new commissioners, and the presentation of Essex Heritage’s Pioneers in Partnership Awards, designed to recognize individuals and organizations that exemplify the Essex National Heritage Commission’s spirit of collaboration through their initiatives in building partnerships that preserve and celebrate the historic, cultural and natural resources of Essex County. PACE announces latest hire
Elder Service Plan of the North Shore Inc., a member of the non-profit, national organization PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) has announced the addition of Christopher Frederick, to their Gloucester facility team as Activity Assistant in the Recreation Department at the PACE day center at 29A Emerson Avenue.
A 2003 graduate of Christopher Peabody High School, Chris earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Salem State College in Art & Psychology. He loves working with the older population and through art, aims to help them explore their creative sides, find their hidden talents to express their imagination and learn something new things about life in general and their lives in particular.
