Larraine and Rosario Milone

April 27, 1963

On Saturday, April 27, 2013, Larraine (Mitchell) and Rosario (Roy) Milone, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at a catered dinner dance, held at the D.E.S. Club in Gloucester. The party was hosted by their daughters, Nanci Milone Hill (fiancé of Robert Imhof), Silvia Martin (wife of Peter Martin), and Lori-Ann Giamanco (wife of Joseph Giamanco), all of Gloucester. The Reverened Eugene Alves of Our Lady Voyage Church presided over the renewal of their vows.

A moment of silence was given in memory of the Best Man, Larry Nicolosi (of Sun Lakes, Arizona) who passed on April 22, 2013. The couple was originally wed on April 27, 1963, at Our Lady of Good Voyage Church. The wedding was officiated by a good friend, the Reverend David Noonan. The couple's wedding party consisted of Maid of Honor Marion Goodwin, and Best Man, Lawrence Nicolosi, Bridemaids were Carol Silva, Joyce (Mitchell) Lacerda, Joan (Mitchell) Jordan, Judy (Nicolosi) Prudanas, Eleanor (Batalotta) Nicolosi, and Marcia (Davis) Pequino. Groomsmen included Danny Rodolosi, Onofrio Russo, Francis Silva, Jack Peqino, Tony Ciulla, and Tony Ciolino. The Flower Girl was Kim Rose, and the Ring Bearer was Onofrio Russo. A Special congratulatory note was received from the President and the First Lady, Barrack and Michelle Obama. Roy and Larraine are the proud grandparents of Saraha Al-Edwan, Molly Martin and Jacob and Joshua Giamanco.
