Kaicia O. Nicastro and Jason M. Pratt.

Our Lady of Good Voyage Church was the setting for the New Year's evening wedding of Kaicia O. Nicastro and Jason M. Pratt.

The bride was given in marriage by her father at a Nuptial Mass officiated by Reverend Eugene Alves.

Kaicia is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph A. Nicastro, Jr., and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Raphael D. Oliver, Sr. and the late Captain and Mrs. Joseph A. Nicastro, Sr. Jason is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jonathan J. Pratt, and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Dexter Murray and Mr. and Mrs. Michael Pratt.

Blakely Calabrese served as the matron of honor for her sister. Bridal attendants were Kristin Nicastro, sister-in-law of the bride, Nina Gordon, cousin of the bride, and Jill Benton, Giaqueline Parisi, Vanessa Silva and Kristina Bakas, all friends of the bride. Flower girls were Tessa Nicastro, niece of the bride, and Charlotte Nicastro, cousin of the bride. The groom's twin brother Jonathan served as the best man. Groomsmen were Derek Pratt, brother of the groom, Daniel Murray and David Pratt, cousins of the groom, Joseph A. Nicastro, III and Andrew A. Calabrese, III both brothers-in-law of the groom, and Eric Lewis, Robert Shatford, and Vito Ferrara, all friends of the groom. Jack Nicastro, cousin of the bride was the ring bearer.

The reception was held at The Black Swan Country Club in Georgetown.

The bride is a 2003 graduate of Bishop Fenwick High School. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Spanish from the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth in 2007. In 2008, Kaicia graduated from The Paul Mitchell School in Rhode Island. She is employed at Andrew Michaels Inc. in Salem.

The groom graduated from Gloucester High School in 2000, Gushing Academy in 2001, and received his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration in 2005 from Fitchburg State College. He is the Director of Recruitment at Penn Mutual in Boston.

The newlyweds enjoyed a honeymoon in Aruba and presently reside in Gloucester.
