James Dorsey III of Sykesville, Md. and Darlene Dorsey of Sykesville and San Diego are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Candice Dorsey to Adam DeCruz, son of Peter and Ann DeCruz of Rockport.
Candice graduated from LaJolla Country Day High School. She also received a BA in Biology from St. Mary's College of Maryland, an MS in Conservation from American University, a PhD in Environmental Science and Public Policy from the Smithsonian Institution and George Mason University. She is employed at the Association of Zoos and Aquariums in Silver Spring, Md. as the Director of Animal Conservation.
Adam graduated from Rockport High School. He received his BA Political Science degree from UMass Amherst. He is employed at Anchor Software LLC in Rockville, Md., as a Marketing Manager.
Candice and Adam have been together for over three years and share a love of many diverse things from politics to reality TV shows on VH1. Rock of Love is their favorite.
A Feb. 28, 2009 wedding is planned.
