Julian M. Drury has earned honors at Phillips Exeter Academy in Exeter, New Hampshire, for the winter 2012 term. Julian, a tenth grader, is a Rockport resident and the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mark K. Drury.

Rockport resident Anna Yoors, enrolled in SEA Semester, a study abroad program through Sea Education in Woods Hole, MA., has successfully completed the Sea Semester's six-week shore component earning academic credit for curricuum in oceanography, nautical science and maritime studies. Yoors developed a research project that will be tested and completed aboard SEA's 134' sailing vessel, the Corwith Cramer, one of the most sophisticated research equipped vessels under sail in the U.S. She will sail from Key West, Florida on a six week, 3,000 nautical mile journey with a final destination of St. Croix, USVI, collecting data for a research project, and assist in providing weather observations to a national database, learn to chart the course of the vessel using celestial navigation, and serve as a Junior Watch Officer (JWO) taking full command of the vessel during watch.
