Fish Landings

Cape Ann Seafood Exchange

The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange handled 8,600 pounds of fish and 700 pounds of scallops Friday.

Top species landed and average prices were:

:Large monkfish, head on: 1,700 pounds ($1.20)

Large hake: 1,600 pounds ($1.20)

Sea scallops: 700 pounds ($12.52)

Large monktail: 700 pounds ($3.63)

Small yellowtail: 600 pounds (94 cents)

Other landings

The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 63,300 pounds of fish and 73,400 pounds of scallops Thursday.

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 23,200 pounds of fish and 200 pounds of scallops Thursday.

No landings were reported Friday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
