Manchester Goings On

Events listed here are open to the public and sponsored by nonprofit groups unless otherwise noted. ‘Just Treats’ event

First Baptist Church will host a “No Tricks, Just Treats” event Wednesday, Oct. 31, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Activities will involve candy, games, cookie-decorating and coffee for parents. All are welcome to drop in.

MERHS auction

On Saturday Nov. 3, from 7 to 9 p.m., at JD & Myers Best Friends, 24 Lexington Avenue, Magnolia there will be an auction to support MERHS Robotics Team with complimentary appetizers and entertainment. Items include Celtics tickets, three day weekend in a 3 bedroom cottage at Popponesset Beach, Cape Cod , Massage Elements of Beverly, Gift cards for Cape Ann Restaurants, fine wines for a dinner party, lobsters, art work, slightly used child’s bicycle, gift cardsfor local Golf Course and more! Log Bridge lunch

The Manchester Council on Aging will attend a luncheon at The Log Bridge Inn on Wednesday, Oct. 31. The student-run restaurant is located at the North Shore Technical High School in Middleton. Cost is $8 per person. Prepaid reservations due by Oct. 22. Space is limited to 12. Van pickup starts at 10:45 a.m. and returns by 12:45 p.m. Call 978-526-7500.
