Fish Landings

Cape Ann Seafood Exchange

The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange reported no landings Wednesday but handled 22,100 pounds of fish Friday.

Top species landed and average prices were:

Medium and small pollock: 5,900 pounds ($1.39)

Market cod: 5,800 pounds ($2.63)

Large hake: 3,000 pounds ($2.69)

Large pollock: 2,000 pounds ($1.54)

Scrod cod: 1,000 pounds ($2.45)

Other landings

The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 8,800 pounds of fish and 35,400 pounds of scallops Thursday.

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction reported no landings Tuesday, but handled 17,200 pounds of fish Thursday.

No landings were reported Friday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
