Red, White, & Blue Pancake Breakfast, 7:30 to 11 a.m., hosted by Manchester Essex Rotary Club. Egyptian stories and collar craft, 10:30 a.m., Manchester Public Library lawn. Egyptian tales, craft fun, Egyptian-inspired jewelry. Meet inside in case of rain.

Saturday, July 13

S.S. Crocker Memorial Race, held off the coast of Manchester. Race open to all sailboats. Fun-filled family event. Awards given for first, second and third in each class. Wood and Fiberglass boats welcome. Sponsored by Manchester Yacht Club and Manchester Harbor Boat Club. www.sscrockerrace.com.

Tuesday, July 23
