Magnolia Lions Club Scholarship

Awarded on the basis of academic achievement, moral character, and economic circumstance to residents of Magnolia area of Gloucester and children of Magnolia Lions who have made written application and have been accepted at a school of higher education.

$400 — Derek Milton Rodgers

Magnolia Lions Club Scholarship in Memory of George McTigue

Awarded on the basis of academic achievement, moral character, economic circumstance and participation in organized sports to students who have made written application and have been accepted at a school of higher education.

$200 — Taylor Elizabeth Souza

Magnolia Lions Club Scholarship in Memory of Tom Warren

Awarded on the basis of academic achievement, moral character, and economic circumstance to students who have made written application and have been accepted at a school of higher education.

$200 — Abigail Elizabeth Avila

Francis “Chuck” Mitchell Scholarship

Awarded to a member of the Gloucester High School graduating class having satisfactory scholastic achievement who has been accepted at an institution of learning beyond high school. Preference is given to a student who attended Beeman Memorial School or Plum Cove School.

$500 each — Carlo Joseph Cracchiolo and Mark Kenneth Horgan

D. Scott Noble Scholarship in Memory of D. Scott Noble

Awarded to a graduating senior at Gloucester High School who participated in the vocational curriculum and has established a plan for post graduate education.

$2,000 each — Joshua Christopher Plummer and Ryan James Whittemore

Sheila Soini Normansell Memorial Scholarship

Awarded to a Gloucester High School senior who has been accepted by Framingham State College or a Gloucester High School graduate in good academic standing in their first, second or third year at Framingham State College.

$2,500 — Rachael Lynn Favaloro

Gloucester High School graduate enrolled at Framingham State College: $2,500 — Josiah Smith Bedrosian

North Shore Arts Association of Gloucester Scholarship

Awarded to a Cape Ann resident and graduating senior of Gloucester High School who has been accepted to an accredited professional art school or university art program.

$750 — Alexis Jean Chipperini

The Joseph & Lena Novello Scholarship

Awarded to a graduating senior whose family has been influenced by or who has a direct connection to the fishing industry in Gloucester and who has been accepted to an accredited school of higher learning.

$500 — Angela Kathleen Marino

Sandra “Sandy” Orlando Memorial Scholarship

Awarded to a Gloucester resident and graduating senior of Gloucester High School who has been accepted to an institute of higher learning either in the medical or music field and who has demonstrated care and kindness toward others with a positive attitude.

$500 — Nicholas Joseph Lucido

Jean and Joseph Palazola Memorial Athletic Scholarship

Awarded to a Gloucester resident and graduating senior of Gloucester High School who has been accepted to a four-year college or university and is a three-year varsity athlete with good academic standing and an involvement in community service.

$500 each — Alexandra Rachel Costanzo and Mark Kenneth Horgan

Roger J. Parady Jr. Scholarship Fund

Awarded to a graduating senior of Gloucester High School who has been accepted by Salem State College with preference given to a student intending to pursue a career in the teaching profession.
