Fish Landings

Cape Ann Seafood Exchange

The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange handled 33,200 pounds of fish Wednesday.

Top species landed and average prices were:

:Medium pollock: 9,400 pounds ($1.10)

Ocean perch: 6,900 pounds (50 cents)

Medium and small pollock: 5,100 pounds (82 cents)

Large pollock: 2,600 pounds ($2.31)

Scrod haddock: 2,600 pounds ($2.41)

Other landings

The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 177,600 pounds of fish and scallops Wednesday.

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 25,100 pounds of fish Tuesday.

No landings were reported Thursday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
