Fish Landings

Cape Ann Seafood Exchange

The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange handled 18,200 pounds of fish Wednesday.

Top species landed and average prices were:

:Large monkfish, head on: 3,300 pounds ($1.44)

Medium pollock: 2,800 pounds ($1.16)

Large hake: 1,400 pounds ($1.50)

Small dabs: 1,400 pounds ($1.88)

Ocean perch: 1,400 pounds (62 cents)

Other landings

The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 163,200 pounds of fish and scallops Tuesday.

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 44,700 pounds of fish Monday.

No landings were reported Wednesday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
