Fish Landings

Cape Ann Seafood Exchange

The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange handled 29,500 pounds of fish Thursday.

Top species landed and average prices were:

:Medium pollock: 10,500 pounds (95 cents)

Medium and small pollock: 3,200 pounds (87 cents)

Large hake: 3,200 pounds ($1.37)

Ocean perch: 2,400 pounds (45 cents)

Medium hake: 1,500 pounds (80 cents)

Other landings

The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 64,700 pounds of fish and scallops Wednesday.

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 4,600 pounds of fish Wednesday.

No landings were reported Thursday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
