Marine weather for Cape Ann

Coastal waters east of Ipswich Bay and the Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary.

Small craft advisory in effect through this evening.

Today, southwest winds 10 to 15 knots with gusts to 25 knots. Seas 4 to 7 feet.

Tonight, west winds 15 to 20 knots diminishing to 10 to 15 knots after midnight. Gusts up to 25 knots. Seas 4 to 6 feet.

Thursday, southwest winds 10 to 15 knots, becoming southeast 15 to 20 knots in the afternoon. Seas 3 to 5 feet. Chance of showers.

Thursday night, south winds 15 to 20 knots, becoming southwest after midnight. Gusts up to 25 knots. Seas 3 to 5 feet. Chance of showers.

Friday, west winds 20 to 25 knots with gusts up to 30 knots. Seas 4 to 6 feet.

Friday night, west winds 15 to 20 knots with gusts to 25 knots. Seas 2 to 4 feet.

Saturday, west winds 10 to 15 knots with gusts up to 20 knots. Seas 2 to 4 feet.

Saturday night, northwest winds 10 to 15 knots. Seas 1 foot or less. Chance of showers.

Sunday, northwest winds 10 to 15 knots. Seas around 2 feet. Chance of showers.

Sunday night, northwest winds 10 to 15 knots with gusts up to 20 knots. Seas 2 to 3 feet. Chance of showers.
