The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston's Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester's Whaling City Auction, handled 183,000 pounds of fish and 221,400 pounds of scallops Monday and 73,400 pounds of fish and 37,300 pounds of scallops Friday.
The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 49,300 pounds of fish Sunday and 3,300 pounds Thursday.
No landings were reported Monday or Friday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
