Fish landings

Cape Ann Seafood Exchange

The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange handled 29,900 pounds of fish Wednesday.

Top species landed and average prices were:

Medium and small pollock: 4,400 pounds (99 cents)

Lage sow hake: 4,000 pounds ($2.10)

Ocean perch: 3,500 pounds (96 cents)

Small dabs: 2,300 pounds ($1.38)

Large pollock: 2,100 pounds ($1.27)

Other landings

The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston's Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester's Whaling City Auction, handled 79,000 pounds of fish and 135,500 pounds of scallops Tuesday.

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 29,100 pounds of fish Tuesday.

No landings were reported Wednesday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
