Fish Landings

Cape Ann Seafood Exchange

The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange handled 35,300 pounds of fish and scallops Wednesday.

Top species landed and average prices were:

:Medium pollock: 15,600 pounds (90 cents)

Medium and small pollock: 8,500 pounds (74 cents)

Ocean perch: 7,900 pounds (49 cents)

Large pollock: 1,800 pounds ($1.75)

Sea scallop: 700 pounds ($1.13)

Other landings

The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 32,800 pounds of fish and scallops Wednesday.

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 19,900 pounds of fish Wednesday.

No landings were reported Thursday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
