Fish Landings

Cape Ann Seafood Exchange

The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange handled 25,900 pounds of fish Aug. 30.

Top species landed and average prices were:

:Medium pollock: 6,200 pounds ($1.07)

Large hake: 2,800 pounds ($1.55)

Medium and small pollock: 2,700 pounds (94 cents)

Large monktail: 1,700 pounds ($4.03)

Snapper haddock: 1,500 pounds (98 cents)

Other landings

The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 29,100 pounds of fish and 50,600 pounds of scallops Thursday.

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 17,300 pounds of fish Thursday.

No landings were reported Monday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
