The Crew

If we could go back in time and talk to all the great captains in history,

They would tell the same story —

It was the crew who made him a success,

And he got all the glory.

When a captain crosses an ocean or sea, he is responsible,

But without a good crew,

He knows this task would be totality impossible.

Let’s take Christopher Columbus for an example,

He crossed the Atlantic with three ships —

The Nina, the Pinta and the Santa Maria.

Nobody talks about his crew —

These brave men were the ones who got him here.

Now I am not saying that the crew was in command,

What I am saying is —

That when the captain and the crew work together,

They can create a great man.

Capt. James F. Parisi
