Artist demonstrations

North Shore Arts Association, 11 Pirates Lane, will offer these adult workshops and free artist demonstrations:

All Media Master Class with Frank Federico, June 27–30, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Free watercolor demonstration with Lynn Loscutoff, June 30, noon.

Free oil demonstration, “Alla Prima Portrait Painting,” with Dianne Panarelli Miller, June 30, 2 p.m.

Senior Social

The Lanesville Community Center, 8 Vulcan St., will hold a Senior Social on Friday, July 5, from 1 to 3 p.m. Coffee, cold drinks, and nisu will be served. The Everly Duo of the Honky Tonk Women of Gloucester will be singing. Come enjoy the afternoon with friends and neighbors. Door prizes will be awarded! Museum outdoor tours

Cape Ann Museum will present three separate outdoor tours this summer, which offer multiple opportunities to walk or boat in the footsteps of Gloucester’s best-known artists.

Fitz Henry Lane’s Gloucester Walking Tour — Highlights the artist’s neighborhood. 10 a.m. tour held rain or shine. $10 members, $20 nonmembers. Reservations required. Schedule: Saturdays, July 13 and Aug. 10.

Fitz Henry Lane’s Sunset Harbor Cruise — Narrated tour of Gloucester Harbor from aboard schooner Ardelle. 6 to 8 p.m. tour. Offered in collaboration with Maritime Gloucester. Members only, $20. Hopper’s Houses Walking Tour — See Gloucester houses made famous in Edward Hopper’s paintings. 10 a.m. tour. Offered in conjunction with special exhibition “Hopper Redux,” Photographs by Gail Albert Halaban, on display June 29-Sept. 29. $10 members; $20 nonmembers. Space limited. Reservations required. Schedule: Saturdays, July 6, July 20, July 27, Aug. 3, and Aug. 17.

Eagle & Dove event

Eagle & Dove Ministries will present a free celebration through worship, arts and cultural heritage Saturday, July 27, 6:30 to 10 p.m., at the Lanesville Community Center, 8 Vulcan St. Features live worship, art and dance; and first nations guests: Dan Goddard (Abenaki), Daniel Garvin (Mic-Mac) and Dyane Beaudette (Metis).
