Poets Corner: Wonder, by Rosalie Genovese

Sometimes I wonder what will be

in times of war or peace

will we be mindful of each other,

kind, and always ready to say

have a good day?

No matter what went on before

I wonder what will be

now I know we will be strong

we can do what needs to be

we can step on what is wrong

really stop what's going on

when we say, have a good day

mean it with all our hearts

sometimes I wonder what will be.
