Cape Ann Seafood Exchange

No report was received from the Cape Ann Seafood Exchange on Wednesday.

Other landings

The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston's Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester's Whaling City Auction, handled 29,500 pounds of fish Tuesday.

The Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford handled 34,500 pounds of scallops Tuesday.

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction reported no landings Tuesday.

No landings were reported Wednesday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.

The Holy Family Guild is having a Strawberry Festival, plant sale, and "General Store" on June 2, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Home-made preserves, fresh-baked pies, cookies and goodies, strawberry shortcake, and much more will be available for sale.

Cape Ann Seafood Exchange
The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange handled 69,100 pounds of fish Thursday.
Top species landed and average prices were:
Medium and small pollock: 20,200 pounds (75 cents)
Scrod haddock: 18,500 pounds ($2.54)
