A Prayer

Gloucester Daily Times

With a prayer in my pocket

I carry with me each day ...

It is a reminder that God is with me

If I should fall along the way.

I keep it close beside me

As I travel through my day

And feel safe where I am going

For the Lord always knows what to say.

With this prayer in my pocket

I know I am never alone ...

I feel blessed to have assurance

He is listening wherever I should roam.
