The Friends of the Rockport Library will hold its spring book sale Friday, March 15, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday, March 16, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Sunday, March 17, 1 to 5 p.m., at the library, 17 School St. Enjoy a bake sale and shop for hardback and paperback books, children’s books, books on tape, videos and DVDs. Tai Ji — Wednesdays, 9 to 10 a.m. $4 per class.
Strength Resistance Exercise Class — Mondays and Fridays, 9 to 10 a.m. $4 per class.
Yoga — Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9 to 10 a.m. $3 per class.
Bingo — Mondays, 1 to 3:30 p.m.
Knitting and Handiwork Group — Thursdays, 1 to 3:30 p.m.
Scrabble — Wednesdays, 1 to 3 p.m.
The Cape Ann Shakespeare Troupe has established a $500 scholarship to be awarded to a Cape Ann High School senior who has been accepted to a college theater arts program. Prerequisites include participation in high school drama programs and involvement in one CAST production.
