The Good Old Days

What happened to the Good Old Days

When life was simple in so many ways?

People passing on the street,

A greeting, a smile, from those you’d meet,

A warmth, a caring, from strangers, too —

It made you feel like a “special you!”

Today, while passing on the street,

Heads are down, no time to greet,

Fingers clicking at a nonstop pace

As they text and send in a frantic race

Technology has changed our ways

Just give me back The Good Old Days!
