Gloucester Daily Times
---- — Our stately ladies turn with grace
Their slim white arms slowly spin
Revolving arcs leave little trace
As gusts of air pass each fin
Guardians together atop the hill
Gazing downward as they twirl
Windswept fans slow and gentle
Yet sending force as they unfurl
Stark then against our coastal sky
And nun-like in their quiet stance
Our dutiful workers placed up high
Are humming silently as they dance
Newcomers arrived in our midst
Those slender ladies looking down
Our island skies are each day kissed
By those Grande Dames of our town
