Fish Landings

Cape Ann Seafood Exchange

The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange handled 10,200 pounds of fish Friday.

Top species landed and average prices were:

:Market cod: 3,900 pounds ($2.26)

Large cod: 2,000 pounds ($2.37)

Medium pollock: 1,400 pounds (94 cents)

Scrod cod: 400 pounds ($2.25)

Large hake: 300 pounds ($2.54)

Other landings

The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 84,800 pounds of fish and scallops Thursday.

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 23,900 pounds of fish Thursday.

No landings were reported Friday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
