Fish Landings

Cape Ann Seafood Exchange

The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange handled 18,000 pounds of fish Wednesday.

Top species landed and average prices were:

:Ocean perch (redfish): 9,200 pounds (68 cents)

Medium and small pollock: 2,200 pounds (93 cents)

Large hake: 1,100 pounds ($1.79)

Large pollock: 800 pounds ($1.60)

Small yellowtail: 600 pounds ($1.86)

Other landings

The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 69,500 pounds of fish and scallops Tuesday.

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 18,700 pounds of fish Tuesday.

No landings were reported Wednesday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
