The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston's Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester's Whaling City Auction, handled 16,500 pounds of fish and 83,500 pounds of scallops Tuesday and 151,900 pounds of fish and 120,900 pounds of scallops Monday.
The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 25,600 pounds of fish Monday.
No landings were reported Tuesday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
