The Friends of the Rockport Public Library are seeking donations of paperback and hardback books in good condition for the book sale which will take place March 15-17. Donated books, DVDs and books on tape can be brought to the library during normal hours of operation: Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday, 1 to 5 p.m.; and Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, 1 to 8 p.m. Proceeds support the Cabin Fever movies, the author series, and children’s programs.
The Gloucester Health Department will offer a free community flu clinic, for those six months of age and older, Tuesday, Jan. 15, 9 to 11 a.m., at the Addison Gilbert Hospital cafe. (Use the Fisher Lobby entrance.) There is no fee or preregistration required. Wear a short-sleeved shirt. All are welcome.
“Warm Music for a Winter’s Night: The Complete Brahms Piano Trios” on Friday, Jan. 25, 7:30 p.m., at the Shalin Liu Performance Center. Proceeds benefit the Northeast Massachusetts Youth Orchestras.
