Peace

Peace is sometimes hard to find

It is a lovely state of mind

Sometimes it seems out of reach

But we can find it on a beach

We feel it under a shady tree

It’s where we really want to be

Peace is a visit to our church

The place to go to in our search

On a porch, out of the sun

With the family having fun

Quietly reading in the night

Making up after a fight

Meditating in your chair

You can really find it there

When the kids are fast asleep

Treasure time you like to keep

Peace is sometimes hard to find

It is a lovely state of mind
