Entertainer Keith Michael Johnson will present his “Science isn’t Always Pretty” program on Saturday, Feb. 23, at 2 p.m. at the Rockport Public Library. With humor and hands-on participation, he opens the world of science to children in grades K–5 and brings science to life with answers to all kinds of questions: Why do whips snap? Why are owl droppings fascinating? How did we explain things before we had science? Johnson motivates kids to think differently and more positively with this humor-based, educational program, funded by the Friends of the Rockport Public Library.
